Metal Magic Comparative Data & Key Information

Metal Magic is highly cost effective to produce. This offers significant cost savings to manufacture compared to competitors, whose higher production costs result in higher retail prices and lower profit margin. This factor could also allow Metal Magic to be sold at a lower price-point that undercuts competitors while providing significantly higher profit margins to the manufacturer or distributor.

For comparison, the MSRP of the main competitor, Evaporust, is $32.99 a gallon. Comparative data of production costs based on ingredient components indicates a likely minimum of 2-4x the cost of our Metal Magic product.

Not only does Metal Magic work on any ferrous metal that can rust (such as steel, cast iron, iron, or any alloy of steel), BUT unlike its competitors it also removes:

1. Oxidation of any “red metals” (such as brass, bronze, copper, etc). - Not only does it remove this oxidation but does so almost immediately.

2. Mill Scale; a build-up that is a by-product of steel manufacturing that forms during the hot rolling process, which can inhibit fusion during welding or cause adhesion issues with painting/powder coating.

3. It can also be used as a powerful cleaning solution that removes lime scale or hard water stains/mineral deposits in toilets, tubs, shower heads and faucets, as well as on glass and chrome.

4. Grease and stain remover on concrete and masonry. Safe for any surface, including plastics, rubber, wood, fabric, and more.

These additional applications make it an all-in-one product with applications far in excess of the competitors.

Metal Magic’s formula is incredibly fast-acting compared to competitors, providing superior results within a fraction of the time. Metal Magic works on rust in about an hour or less for the vast majority of applications. In many of our tests of time-frame efficacy on rusted items, it works to completion of full rust removal within minutes.

As previously stated, when used on corrosion of copper, brass, bronze, and more - it works almost immediately.

Metal Magic is designed for passive use - you can let it work in the background while you’re performing other tasks at work or home. This ground-breaking formula allows you to simply pour, soak, and rinse. In addition to this, items can be safely left in the Metal Magic solution for an indefinite amount of time.

Competitor products often require constant monitoring or additional steps for full effectiveness, and/or can corrode or damage items left in their solution for longer than their conservative timeframe recommendations.

No preparation is needed with Metal Magic - just immerse the items and the formula does all the work. After using Metal Magic, simply rinse the part with water and the process is complete, leaving the completed item viable for any further steps (such as painting, powder coating, cold bluing, or electroplating).

In contrast, many competitor products require cleaning, scrubbing, and sanding - sometimes extensive, messy and/or hazardous - or other preparation steps before use or completion.

Metal Magic effectively removes rust without affecting the underlying material. Some competitors’ products can deteriorate the surface and/or cause what is known as “hydrogen embrittlement”, which compromises the material’s strength and integrity, potentially leading to fractures or failure. Metal Magic also retains the integrity of paint or electroplated finishes.

When in contact with tool steel, high tensile steel, or high carbon steels, Metal Magic causes a chemical reaction that deposits an integrated rust preventative coating layer of Fe3O4 Magnetite (otherwise known as “black iron oxide”). This protective barrier temporarily inhibits the reoccurring of rust formation on the base metal. Our rust preventative coating is superior to competitors due to having comparatively more density and longevity.

Once the desired finish is achieved, just rinse in water and apply the coating or paint finish of your choice. Alternatively, for a longer lasting rust preventative coating that’s ideal for storing your items after use, simply remove from the solution and let the item dry - just rinse in water at the later date prior to using.

When used on non-metal materials or finishes, it does not leave any deposit or discoloration.

Metal Magic can be reused significantly longer than leading competitors, lasting through more applications and providing sustainability over time.

Competitors often have a shorter lifespan and require frequent replacement. Though this could be considered a profitability downside to Metal Magic from a manufacturer’s perspective, a price point should be considered that takes into account the significant customer value above and beyond competitors’ products.

Many competitor products contain harsh chemicals and may require protective gear for safe handling. Alternatively, the more environmentally friendly rust remover products currently on the market were shown to be some of the least effective in comparison testing against Metal Magic.

Metal Magic is easy and safe to dispose of, with a non-toxic formulation. It is pH Neutral - equivalent to most local tap water - and is safe to put down your drain.

On the other hand, proper disposal of certain competitor products can be difficult or require inconvenient steps, and some products on the market may pose safety risks to people, pets, wildlife, and the environment due to toxic chemicals.
